Ashley shared in the vid about how she named her pup, “I was looking up all these Hawaiian names and they were all really really long…like humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa (laughs). I was like ‘I don’t know, I can’t find one [a name].’ But then it was like ‘Wait, what about Maui?’ The island I always go to.”
