Chris Brown appeared on BET’s “106 & Park” to apologize for his violent outburst at “Good Morning America” on Tuesday.
Brown went ballistic after an interview withRobin Roberts veered into questions about his battery of onetime girlfriendRihanna.
On “106 & Park,” Brown apologized for his behavior while also insisting that ABC used the Rihanna incident to “exploit” him.
“First of all, I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, or anybody who was offended… [and was] disappointed at my actions. Because I’m disappointed in the way I acted.”
“Yes, I got very emotional. And I apologize for that,” added Brown, who explained that his backstage fireworks were necessary to release “the anger that I had inside of me.”
But he disagreed with ABC’s official position that he knew exactly what questions were coming during his “GMA” appearance, saying he was “thrown off” by Roberts’ line of questioning.
