Welcome back, Shawn Johnson!
The 19-year-old Olympian has made it back on the U.S. National Team, the Associated Press reports.
Shawn recently blogged on her official site, “[Karolyi’s] Camp ended up going very well. I wasn’t able to do everything I wanted to do because of my knee, so it was more of a conditioning camp than anything… but I can only go up from here, right?! I’m finally getting close to the shape I want to be in and able to do the skills I need for my routines.
“I learned a lot at this camp and got some great insight as to how the world of gymnastics has evolved in the past couple of years…. And let me just tell you… THESE NEW GIRLS ARE AMAZING! Go team USA! Its exciting to get back into the system and see the hope for a fantastic future team. The girls are working so well with each other and the potential strength of what our team is capable of is incredible! We sure will be the team to beat.”
