Nikki Yanofsky hits the red carpet at the 2011 MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute on Friday (February 11) at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The 17-year-old singing sensation performed at the pre-Grammy gala for Barbra Streisand, who was the night’s honoree.
“I don’t really get nervous,” Nikki said. “I get nervous when I feel that I’m not prepared. But I’ve been preparing a lot for this, so I’m pretty sure that it’ll be all good.”
“Honestly, [Barbra] has one of the best voices of all time. I guess as a singer, also, I can really appreciate her technique. She’s so technically perfect and everything she does is so well thought out. I can’t say enough,” she added.
