Fans who read “Breaking Dawn” will know that the book is divided into three major parts — but with the movie being split into two films, just where will that split be?
USA Today chatted with producer Wyck Godfrey to find out more about the script and just where fans would be left off in the first film.
He shared, “We basically want to take the audience through the emotional part of Bella’s (Kristen Stewart) journey as she becomes a vampire. The first part will cover the wedding, the honeymoon and the birth,” and continued, “The story will break from her and follow Jacob (Taylor Lautner) throughout the course of the movie as he struggles with his own dilemma. There is a sense that as Bella and the Cullens [Edward's (Robert Pattinson) makeshift vampire clan] deal with her pregnancy, the world is still turning outside with Jacob.”
TELL JJJ: If you were the screenwriter, where would you cut the book in half?
