Chelsea Kane Chats 'The Homes'

Chelsea Kane’s new webseries The Homes premieres this week!

The 21-year-old actress sat down to chat with Lockerz.com about being in a band, her eclectic music collection and her character Annie. Check it:

On ‘The Homes’ being her first real band experience: “I’ve been in 4 bands. All with really awesome names. Unfortunately, none of us played instruments or wrote songs. We were also in grade school. So yeah, this is my first real band.”

On some of her favorite tunes in the show: “‘The Road Knows’ is my favorite song melody wise. ‘Be With Me’ was my favorite song to film. 5 friends with Flip-cams and endless Circus-Circus rides? Hard to top.

On her character Annie: “I like that Annie is capable of evolution. She starts out as an extremely self centered teenager who is willing to walk all over her parents and her new-found friends for her own benefits, but by the end of their journey, Annie has really grown into a more rounded person. I liked playing a character with a really strong arc.”

On what you’ll find on her iPod: “My iPod is a collection of people and experiences. Breakups consist of a lot of Joshua Radin and The Weepies. Girls night out is full of Britney Spears, Peaches and Girl Talk. John Cabrera, our director, introduced me to some of my new favorite artists: Darwin Deez, Frightened Rabbit, Surfer Blood and Marina and the Diamonds.”
