Carey Mulligan is now a major movie star, it doesn’t mean she’s done with the stage.
The Oscar-nominated actress will star in a live theater adaptation of Ingmar Bergman’s 1961 film Through A Glass Darkly.
Mulligan plays a young woman plagued by psychiatric illness that spirals out of control while she vacations with her family.
The Off-Broadway production will premiere May 13.
Mulligan made her Broadway debut in 2008 in Chekhov’s “The Seagull” opposite Peter Sarsgaard and Kristen Scott Thomas.
